The Trump Regime has published an update to the official Medicaid/CHIP enrollment data:

July 2025 Key Findings

Medicaid and CHIP Enrollment

• In July 2025, 77.6 million individuals were enrolled in Medicaid and CHIP.
• 70.4 million individuals were enrolled in Medicaid, and 7.2 million individuals were enrolled in CHIP.
• 40.6 million adults were enrolled in Medicaid, and there were 36.9 million Medicaid child and CHIP enrollees.

Medicaid and CHIP Applications Received

In all the (understandable) panic & controversy over the enhanced ACA tax credits expiring just 6 weeks from today, I wanted to take a quick moment to note that the 2026 Medicare Parts A & B Premiums & Deductible increases have been formally published by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services:

On November 14, 2025, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released the 2026 premiums, deductibles, and coinsurance amounts for the Medicare Part A and Part B programs, and the 2026 Medicare Part D income-related monthly adjustment amounts. 

Medicare Part A Premium and Deductible

Medicare Part A covers inpatient hospital, skilled nursing facility, hospice, inpatient rehabilitation, and some home health care services. Approximately 99% of Medicare beneficiaries do not have a Part A premium since they have at least 40 quarters of Medicare-covered employment, as determined by the Social Security Administration. 

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services just published updated enrollment data for Medicare, adding June 2025 to the data archive.

Whether the data posted since January 20, 2025 is accurate or not, I can't say for certain, but at least they're updating it...and so far, at least, I don't see anything in their monthly reports which is setting off any obvious red flags.

• 71.1 million individuals were enrolled in Medicaid, and 7.3 million individuals were enrolled in CHIP.
• 41.1 million adults were enrolled in Medicaid, and there were 37.3 million Medicaid child and CHIP enrollees.

Over the past couple of months I've compiled a master spreadsheet breaking out enrollment in ACA plans (Qualified Health Plans & Basic Health Plans), Medicaid/CHIP coverage (both traditional & via ACA expansion) and Medicare (both Fee-for-Services & Advantage) at the Congressional District levels.

With the pending dire threat to several of these programs (primarily Medicaid & the ACA) from the House Republican Budget Proposal which recently passed, I'm going a step further and am generating pie charts which visualize just how much of every Congressional District's total population is at risk of losing healthcare coverage.
